AFE Silicon Valley Chapter 39, works closely with all of its student chapters to provide technical facilities engineering and manufacturing information and technology. In addition to career information and industry networking opportunities. The students are invited to participate in monthly technical seminars (lunch and learns).
AFE is committed to provide a unique and valuable experience for any engineering student interested in the field of Facilities Engineering and management. Silicon Valley Chapter 39 provides on Campus visits with Facility engineering professionals to discuss industry technical topics and potential career opportunities with the students.
AFE Silicon Valley is known for its annual Day with a Facilities Professional (DWFP). The 2017 event will be its 55th year. At DWFP student members spend a day with a facilities professional learning about the profession and the industry.
