In an unplanned turn of events, AFE39 is proud to bring in an esteemed speaker with last minute flexibility and ample real world Facility engineering experience to present on related title 24 energy topics at the March 23,2017 Lunch & Learn event.

Lyn L. Gomes, P.E., CCP, LEED AP, CLCATT, is the lead Commissioning Authority for kW Engineering. In her role as an Title 24 Acceptance Tester, she has seen the real-world implementation of code and works to provide practical direction for complying with code to her clients. Her 15 years of combined experience in HVAC and lighting control systems, construction, and startup make her a triple threat in the world of commissioning. She is passionate about lighting controls and commissioning because of the new possibilities for saving energy in both new and existing buildings. In her spare time, she is on the advisory board of Techbridge, an afterschool STEM program for girls, who awarded her “role model of the year” in 2009. Lyn received her Bachelors of Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
